What you need to know before your move
Before we arrive, ensure your belongings are packed and ready to go. Disconnect and secure electronics, clear pathways for easy access, and label boxes clearly. Make sure your pets are safely contained, and if possible, reserve a parking spot for the moving truck. Being prepared and organized will help streamline the moving process.

What's the cost?
Our pricing structure is pretty simple. It’s hourly! From the time we start until the time we finish the job, we bill hourly.
Are you properly insured and licensed?
Of course we are! The state of Florida Requires it! Plus, we want to make sure you’re things are covered as well!
How can I prepare best for the move?
There is a lot you can do to prepare for us! While we can do ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING for you, there are some steps you can take to make it faster! Take all your pictures off the wall, take your beds apart, put your clothes in bags while still in the hangers and hang them up in your closet. Unplug and wrap up all lamps and TV’s.
Can you provide storage for my items?
At this time we cannot store your items, but talk with us, we may be able to accommodate your request and needs.
How long will my move take?
Every move is unique. The best way to get the most accurate time would be to give us a call so we can get a couple answers to your questions. Variables include: number of bedrooms, are there stairs or elevators involved, how close can we park to your new home. All of these things play a role in the time it takes to move. But rest assured, we can typically predict a moves timeline within 30 mins if there aren’t any last minute surprises.
Do I need to be present during the move?
Absolutely not! As long as we can get into your old home, and into the new home, you do not have to be present. In fact, we often move people who are not even in the state!
What is your cancellation policy?
Honestly, we don’t have one. We believe in being good to you the client, and we hope that you will do the same for us! If you need to cancel or reschedule just be courteous and let us know!

I moved into a senior living Retirement community, and they recommended Lance’s Moving; because they are familiar with the spaces in here they were able to recommend furniture placement that would be more wheelchair friendly. Recently used Lance’s moving to move from Largo to Pinellas Park. Lance and his son were great! Very friendly and caring of our belongings. Very fast and efficient hard workers. We’ve made several moves and have a couple nightmare stories about moving, but Lance is the best. We will use him again if we ever need movers.
