How we work
It’s really simple. Just follow the steps below and before you know it, you’ll be enjoying yourself in your new place!
Get an Estimate
Fill out our contact form, or give us a call and we will provide you with a stress-free quote! We will ask you a few questions about your move to get the most accurate quote we can provide to you! Because we charge by the hour, our estimates need to be accurate, and we typically can estimate within 30 minutes of the actual move time!
Plan Your Move
Great you chose Lance’s Moving to make your move! Now what? It’s time to pack! But don’t stress. If you want us to, we can do the packing for you too! If not, make sure you pack as much of your stuff as you can into boxes! With boxes, we can be the most efficient on your moving day!
Time to move
Our team will show up on the day of your move ready to go! We will load our truck and take all your belongings to the new place, where we will unload it, and unpack it if you want us to!
Enjoy your new place
Its done and over! You are now sitting in your new place ready to make new memories!
Why should I chose Lances Moving?
Great question! If you want a safe, efficicent and fun, stress free move chose us! If you want to worry the entire time of your move, concerned with things getting broken, or your movers taking their time, or not working as efficiently as possible, then chose someone else! But if you want to get the move done right, protect your stuff and enjoy your new place as quickly as possible, we are the moving company for you!
What is included in my price?
Almost everything! When we provide a quote we will include our truck and insurance fee, as well as the MOST accurate timeline we can give! (The more information you give us, the more accurate we can be), From there the only other thing that could cost is if we need to use more than 10 boxes (Box fee). Everything else is included, no “oversized furniture” charges, dollies or equipment charges, just a simple hourly rate.
What if I don't know my date yet?
That’s ok! We have wives who plan everything for us! But pre-planning especially for a move is definitely important! Let us know the dates you are thinking of moving and we will accommodate you!
What time will your team arrive?
We will provide you with a time! If we are not already booked for that day, we will be able to come first thing in the morning, or when you want! But if we’re already booked, we will make it to you as soon as we are done with our other move! Remember, we are in the service industry, and while most of the time we can schedule our day perfectly, sometimes things come up and we have to adjust. But don’t worry! We will communicate with you throughout the whole day!
Is there anything I need to do to prepare?
Depending on the experience you want, the answer is, it depends… If you want us to pack absolutely everything for you, we can do that! If not; we recommend you packing as many things as you can into boxes! Our team is most efficient when you are already packed as much as possible. Leave the big items, we will wrap them and move them for you! Remember, we charge by the hour, everything you can do before we arrive means we don’t have to spend time working on it!
Are you licensed and insured?
Of course we are! The state of Florida requires us to be, but we go beyond that! We are fully insured in the event anything were to happen to your items! (But this is highly unlikely)
How long will my move take?
Because we have been moving people for nearly 30 years, we can estimate fairly certainly how long it will take. We will ask you a few questions which help us determine the size of your move. We will then give you a quote based on the number of hours we expect the move to take! We can typicaly estimate within 15-30 mins of completion time of a move!
Do you offer any discounts?
We believe our prices are very reasonable and within the fair market rate for moving companies. We are not the cheapest or the most expensive. But what we are is efficient and safe! If you are concerned about the price, talk with us. We are people and we get people. We will work with you for any size move! Cash prices are also available upon request!
